Culinary Classes

Freshfields Farm offers baking and cooking classes for both children and adults in our beautiful, brand new, state of the art kitchen. The participants will have a hands on experience learning different methods of baking and cooking. The students will be bringing home their treats to share with their family and friends. Pastry and Pie Dough

Date: THIS CLASS IS OFFERED TO PRIVATE CLASSES OF 4 PARTICIPANTS OR MORE AT THIS TIME.
Description: In this class we will discuss the different type of doughs which will include a galette, pate brisee and brioche. We will use assorted fillings from savory to sweet which will include an Almond cream tart, Alsatian onion and Gruyere cheese galette and a Torta Rustica.
This is a hands-on class and you will be eating and bringing home some of your creations to share with family and friends.
The art of creating farm-to-table italian pizza

Description: Prepare to get your hands doughy in this class. You will learn how to make pizza dough using TIPO '‘00” flour from start to finish. This class will show techniques in making the dough as well as rolling it out, baking it and so many other tricks of the trade that will bring your pizza making confidence up a notch or two. You can choose different ingredients for your customized pizzas and will share other pizzas with the group. Complimentary beverages are available during this class. You may also bring your own too. This is such a fun class and you will love the meal that everyone creates!
ITALIAN THEMED COOKING CLASS
Join us for this really fun and hands-on class. Our creations will include homemade ricotta cheese, focaccia bread dough, stuffed Mediterranean bread, traditional risotto, marinara sauce and a ricotta almond tart a sea salt caramel sauce. You will be bringing home some of these items to share with your family and friends. Please bring some to go containers for the class.

FRENCH AND SPANISH CLASS
This class is only offered to private parties of 4 or more at this time. Please contact Donna for available dates.
Ready to have a lot of fun with this class featuring dished from France and Spain. Our creations with include an Alsatian Onion Galette, Traditional Paella, and an Apple Almond Cream tart with a Creme Anglaise.

Refund Policy: Full refund if canceled two weeks before. There will be a charge of $40 for rescheduling one week before per group. 50% refund one week before class. No refunds less than a week before class.
