Culinary Classes

Freshfields Farm offers baking and cooking classes for both children and adults in our beautiful, brand new, state of the art kitchen. The participants will have a hands on experience learning different methods of baking and cooking. The students will be bringing home their treats to share with their family and friends. Pastry and Pie Dough

Cost Per Person: $100

Class Offerings:

Saturday, July 9 (1:00-4:00)

Description: In this class we will discuss the different type of doughs which will include a galette, pate brisee and a flaky, traditional pie crust. We will use assorted fillings from savory to sweet and will include a lemon-orange tart and a Alasian onion and Gruyere cheese galette. This is a hands-on class and you will be eating and bringing home some of your creations to share with family and friends.

The art of creating farm-to-table italian pizza

Cost Per Person: $85

  • Tuesday, June 25, 2024 (4:00-6:30 PM)

  • Saturday, July 27, 2024 (4:00-6:30 PM)

Description: Prepare to get your hands dirty in this class.  You will learn how to make pizza dough using TIPO '‘00” flour from start to finish.  This class will show techniques in making the dough as well as rolling it out and baking it.  You can choose different ingredients for your customized pizza and will share other pizza with the group.  Complimentary beverages are available during this class.  You may also bring your own too. This is such a fun class and you will love the meal that everyone creates!

Italian themed Cooking and Baking class

This class if full. Please call or text Donna if there is a cancellation. We can also arrange a separate date and time to arrange another class if you have four or more parties of interest.

Join us for this really fun and hands-on class. Our creations will include homemade ricotta cheese, focaccia bread dough, stuffed Mediterranean bread, traditional risotto, marinara sauce and a ricotta almond tart.

FRENCH AND SPANISH CLASS

Ready to have a lot of fun with this class featuring dished from France and Spain. Our creations with include an Alsatian Onion Galette, Traditional Paella, and a Almond Cream tart with a creme Anglaise.

Cost Per Person: $115

Class Offerings: August 10, 2024 (4:30-7:30)

Refund Policy: Full refund if canceled two weeks before.  There will be a charge of $40 for rescheduling one week before per group.  50% refund one week before class.  No refunds less than a week before class.
